GMT Productions International was launched by Glen Christie, in mid-2013, as the result of a surprise visit to Kansas City, Missouri. There to meet with British actors, performing at The Met, as part of the third Annual British Invasion – an international theatrical exchange, born of a chance meeting in Edinburgh – he saw the opportunity to extend that network to include Australia.
Tapping into contacts, made through involvement with the Centre for International Theatre (CIT) Adelaide, GMT Productions International intends to bring a variety of British & American small-scale theatrical productions to Adelaide and, in time, provide opportunities for Australian shows to travel to the US and UK.
With connections across the UK, including London (Company Gavin Robertson & Nicholas Collett), Bedford (Blackout Theatre Company), St. Albans (Dyad Productions) and Kansas City (Central Standard Theatre), GMT Productions looks forward to bringing you the best new works from across the seas.
Based in 'The Forge' - at Marryatville High School, on Kensington Road - GMT Productions International offers some of the best small scale theatre available.
