With music in this adaptation by the incomparable Tom Waits, this production of Georg Büchner’s 1837 seminal work, casts the world’s first tragedy of the common man in an irreverent, bluesy light.  The story is dark.  The music even darker, but combining Büchner’s genius with Wait’s trademark wit and melodic turn of phrase, Woyzeck delivers a memorable and powerful 70 minutes of theatre.
