It's the Little Things: Improvised Theatre Workshop with Tim Redmond and Katherine Weaver

Stories live in the specifics. The small 't' truths of a moment. So often in impro, we feel rushed in a scene. We're under pressure to name stuff, name each other, be bold, create a theme, raise the stakes, tilt the narrative, honour the genre, nail the accent - it can be exhausting. It's almost as if we're in a rush to  find an ending to our scenes as soon as they've begun.

But what if,  what just if, everything you need is in your partner? What if all you have to do is turn up, be present, and allow the story to happen to you?

This is a workshop about all the juicy little things that we can miss in the rush to create a scene. It's about slowing down, seeing and really, really listening and letting a scene breathe so the magic can be discovered, not forced.
