The Crucible

"There are wheels within wheels in this town" - Goody Putnam.

The Reynella East College Year Twelve drama students present Arthur Miller's chilling tale of the Salem witch trials; 'THE CRUCIBLE'. As an allegory for McCarthyism caused by Communist fears in the United States during the 1950s, Miller's play tells the story of a group of young Salem women in the late 1600s who falsely accuse other villagers of witchcraft.

75-minutes, no interval.
