Introduction to the Conversational Model

This 2-day workshop (4-5 May 2018) is for those clinicians working with clients who live with BPD or problematic dissociation.  It presents an evidence-based approach known as "The Conversational Model" which has been largely developed by Australian psychiatrist Emeritus Professor Russell Meares. ANZAP will provide two senior clinicians experienced in the conversational model to present this 2-day workshop for the first time in Adelaide.  The Conversational Model has a focus on work with people who have experienced trauma, complex trauma and personality disorders and other treatment resistant conditions. It provides clinicians with an opportunity to develop a basic understanding of the model and apply this to their work with clients.
