Marte Meo Supprtive Communication Skills

Marte Meo Supportive Communication Skills Program, developed by Maria Aarts in the Netherlands supports emotional and social development in everyday interaction moments. It has application to the whole life spectrum and is used inparent-infant work, early childhood services, aged care facilities, neo-natal units, foster care programs and disability services.

In this 6 day training in Marte Meo Supportive Communication Skills  particpants will learn the MArte Meo adult supportive communication skilss - Following, Linking, Leading, Cooperation and Detailed Guidance. On completion of the 6 day training participants will be a Marte meo Practitioner

Marte Meo is a videobased intervention. From day 2 participatns will be expected to bring video clips from their own setting to learn from. This wil include filming of themselves for the purpose of identifying and practicing the elements of supportive communication
