A concert at Elder Hall in the University of Adelaide will include the SA Police Band.  Poems and letters from the Western Front will be read in English by local actors and well known identities

This event is part of the Flinders Field Poppy Trail:

Flanders Field Poppy Trail is a special program of events to commemorate battles in which Australians fought on the Western Front in the Great War (1914-1918).

The program commences in June and continues through to the end of August, 2016. It includes an exhibition series, lecture program, film screenings and concerts, featuring sixteen separate events.

The project is an initiative of the Honorary Consuls of France and Belgium in collaboration with a local consortium including University Collections at the University of Adelaide, Artlab Australia, Army Museum of South Australia, South Australian Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia, State Opera of South Australia, State Library of South Australia,

Proudly supported by Veterans SA and the Anzac Day Commemorative Council.
