Floating Melodies: A Celtic Heart

Come along and bare your heart with this Floating Melodies event on the River Torrens. Celtic singer/harpist, Siobhan Owen, will perform a selection of Celtic songs, mesmerising the audience with ethereal vocals and delicate harp playing.

Siobhan was born in Wales to a Welsh father and Irish mother. She graduated from Elder Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Music – Performance and Pedagogy (Classical Voice) in 2014. Siobhan also performs as a Celtic singer/harpist. Popular at festivals and concerts around Australia, she is gaining recognition on the international stage – spending the whole of 2015 based in the UK and touring Europe, Japan and Siberia. While in the UK, Siobhan recorded two songs for BBC’s “Songs of Praise” and also recorded her fifth studio album, to be released at the end of March 2016. 

This promises to be a memorable musical tour along the Torrens. You will even learn to make your own Celtic Heart to take home. Book early to avoid disappointment as tickets are stricltly limited!

The tasting plates will have an array of Dough breads, The Jolly TeacupTurmeric dukkah, Spring Gully pickles and onions and an assortment of vegetables and fruit to make up the perfect brunch.

Beverages include Chateau Dorrien (Chateau Dorrien Wines Barossa Valley) a nip of warmed Martin Spicy Mead, T Bar Tea Salon Irish Breakfast Tea or a Thorn-Clarke Wines - Barossa Pinot Noir Chardonnay for a few bubbles!

Tickets start from $34.50 and include the cruise, concert, food and one beverage. Boarding at 10.50am at the Elder Park Dock.
