Reconciliation Film Night

This evening will be hosted by the SA Social Justice Committee in recognition of the International Day of the World's Indigenous People.

Come along and enjoy the screening of Charlies' Country.

Following the film screening Jennie Charlton, will be leading a discussion with support from her Aboriginal colleague Tina on:                 

"How can social workers continue to positive impact on

Reconciliation progress in SA?"

As the location has been kindly provided by SA Health this event will be streamed to SA Health locations where a local staff member is able to reach an agreement within their site policy and guideline requirements. 

Meet the Host - Jennie Charlton

Jennie is the Convenor of the SA Social Justice Committee and is a qualified Social worker.  Jennie has taken an active interest in learning about Issues facing Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people since arriving in South Australia 8 years ago.  Jennie met her colleague Tina when she moved to Australia.  She is thankful for the support and guidance that Tina has offered her regarding working with Aboriginal people in a variety of Statutory and Non-statutory settings.
