Surviving and Thriving in Private Practice

Enjoy an evening of networking and information sharing with other Social Workers in Private Practice.  Isolation is a common challenge for social workers in private practice.  Maintaining links with like-minded colleagues helps to not only survive but thrive -  both personally and professionally in the long-term.

 The evening will commence at 5:45 pm for a brief opportunity of networking and a bite to eat before a panel of local Private Practice Social Workers will commence at 6:00 pm.

 A panel of experienced private practitioners will speak on:

 sustaining your passion for private practice

• marketing your business
• managing business relationships with your clients
• building productive relationships with GPs,  and
• planning to be in private practice long-term.

 Following the panel presentation,  the Private Practice Sub-committee will provide a  short presentation about their current activities.
